While we purchase a new computer we all are pleased with its performance but while computer getting old the speed of computer also slow down day by day, here I can give you some quick tips to optimize computer performance which will help you to increase the computer speed. Now let me start below are the steps which you can use to make your computer new always.         Review event logs and clean them: - We all are using computer from long times but some of us know about the event logs these logs are generated by windows automatically time by time. Now the question is how you access these logs open run box on your computer then type ”eventvwr” there without quotes and press ok button or hit enter. Once the event viewer windows open, find Windows logs and expand it here you find Application, Security, Setup and System logs and select them one by one and on right side of pane you can see logs like information, warning and error logs just make a quick look on logs and then clean them by right click on source of logs then click clear log and hit on clear.

         Clean all junk from computer: - This will make huge difference in your computer speed so complete this task thoroughly open run box and type “temp” without quotes  and press OK it will open a new windows in front of you now select all files and press shift+delete and then OK this will delete temporary files now again open run box and type  %temp% and do the above step again. This is not enough now once again open run box and type “cleanmgr” there without inverted commas and press OK then select the drive and press OK it will calculate the space which used by junk files now select all the files to delete and press OK and click on delete files. 

      NOTE: - This will delete junk and temporary files from computer your important data would be safe.

            Clean LAN buffer: - Buffer is a hardware area in LAN card or WIFI while we using Internet this area will collect the data and slow down the internet speed open run box and type netsh dump and press OK this will clear the LAN buffer.

         Browser optimization: - This will increase your browsing speed main browser used by users are Internet explorer, Chrome and Firefox to optimize the browser remove all unwanted toolbars and extensions then clear all the previous history and make your browser start up page to any trusted search engine like Google, Yahoo and Bing.

        Check your antivirus: - Antivirus is a name of protection which protect our computer from viruses, some of the big names are Norton, AVG and Kaspersky. Open your antivirus program and scan your computer with it and clean all the viruses, if you don’t have any antivirus install then select “Best antivirus for windows” and install in. Antivirus is must for you if you are doing shopping and banking on your computer.

        Unwanted application removal: - Check your computer programs and look if any unwanted program installed which is not used by you from long time or you install it by mistake, uninstall that application completely by using Revo uninstaller.

        Enable you firewall: - Windows firewall will protect your computer from unauthorized access so make sure that your firewall is enable.

      

            Automatic updates should be enabled: - Microsoft release security and critical updates for windows users at every month on second Friday which will install on your computer automatically for that your windows update settings should be enabled.

        Create restore point:- Don’t forget to create restore point because if in future you face any problem with computer software you can choose restore point to recover your computer settings.
